Ride to Lemang...

After one month not being able to ride, finally comes an opportunity for a short breakfast ride to the famous Lemang To'ki in Bentong, Pahang with the Multistrada Owners Club Malaysia.

Lemang  is made of glutinous rice filled in a hollowed bamboo stick. It is one of the traditional food for Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore and usually served during festivals.

As usuall, we gathered at BhP Petrol Station at Karak Highway (Route E8) at around 8.30am. It was a mix between the Multistrada and Diavel.. oh! and a Yamaha TMX Scooter (welcome, bro Rizal Iqbal!). About 20 of us, a very good turn up!

After the Bentong toll plaza, we exited into Bentong heading to Raub. Lemang To'ki is located at 3° 32' 43.4004"N, 101° 53' 57.9984"E. It is famous among bikers. It took us roughly around 40 minutes to get there from BhP.

Obviously, Lemang To'ki is famous for its lemang and beef rendang. They have other food as well like, nasi lemak, mee/kueh teow/meehoon goreng, nasi himpit, and such. All of them are tasty but the lemang and beef rendang is a must try! The best time to be there is by 11am, this is when the lemang will be ready.

We were chit chatting away while enjoying our choices of food.

With a heavy and stuffed stomachs, it was time to head home. If you ask me, yes, I will recommend this place to others. The lemang is soft and chewy, just the way you'd like it. Didn't get the chance to try the highly recommended beef rendang though but I'm sure I'll be back.

Thanks guys for the good time and good ride! 'til next time! Ciao !
